The hotel is located in walking distance to the town center and the beach. The hotel was nice, clean, small but comfortable. Swimming pool was clean. We had all inclusive and the burgers by the pool area were a nice touch. Most of the staff were very friendly and nice. However we did not receive a proper welcome when we arrived.

Calella is the perfect choice if you want to combine the visits to Barcelona with hanging out on the beach and swimming. There is a railroad by the sea, with frequent trains, that can take you to Barcelona in 45-ish minutes, or for example, to city of Figueras, where you can visit the Salvador Dali museum. The recurrent ticket costs 10 euros. You can use it to visit other places (other beaches) on Costa Brava, there are 10-15 beautiful public beaches and all of them look awesome. In Calella you have plenty of restaurants and bars, that offer both Spanish food (paella, tapas, etc...) or "classic" - burgers, pizza, fish plates. The place is not too big so you'll get around easy, as the people are willing to talk and show directions.

A busy tourist beachside town with plenty of choice for restaurants bars etc as well as the usual holidays shops. The main shopping area is pedestrianised so thats great but for me too crowded and busy, a sort of Spanish Benalmadena without the nonsense, clean, no drinks and no nonsense

Calella beach was very clean and stretches for a few miles before it joins the next resort and didn’t get overcrowded. Nice restaurants and bars and the town is much quieter than Lloret which was a pleasant surprise. Would recommend a visit and would definitely go back.
It is easy to walk around the narrow streets and along the promenade to the next resorts along the coast. We didn’t hire the free bikes as we preferred to walk but the offer of free bike hire is definitely a bonus offered by the hotel.

Calella is a lovely traditional Spanish town.
Calella is a lovely traditional Spanish town. More local than tourist. With less choice of food and drink that a lot of other Spanish towns . Great shopping areas and friendly local people . Local beaches but no promenades.
This hotel was just brilliant from start to finish. The hotel itself is spotless and the decor is really nice. All of the staff were so so kind and very helpful. The entertainment during the day at the pool for kids and adults such as water arobix ect was great fun. The kids pool is great. I could write an essay honestly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. If you have kids this is the place to go in barcalona. Not far from the beach or the shops and restaurants.
I recently stayed at Hotel President in Calleja, Spain, and I'd like to share my thoughts on the experience. There were several aspects that stood out positively. The food was consistently delicious, and the practice of changing towels daily was a welcome touch. The hotel's location was convenient, and the staff was genuinely friendly. The lobby and the garden area at the back of the hotel were beautifully designed, adding to the overall ambiance.
Overall value of this hotel is great. The available breakfast and diners are nice with a wide variety of choices, however the starting time is quite late (normal in Spain). Also on the advertisements it said that the drinks where included with diner, but they were not.
The hotel is close to some clubs where music is played till loud, so expect to need earplugs for sleeping. In summary a great relaxing stay.
I chose the hotel Colibri in Calella because of good price and location, very close to the sea and was very satisfied, the hotel is after renovation, so all is new and clean. The breakfast is included, very delicious and coffee is the theist I’ve ever drink. The beach is near, Calella is perfect place for the rest, near hotel there are : good shops, the park, church, fast train to Barcelona
Location is perfect, next to the beach in calm part of Calella, sea view… Hotel staff is excellent, receptionist very polite and on servise, kichen ladies very nice. Room has been cleaned every day, towels changed daily…Food was amazing, good value for money…
20 min by walk to train station (1 hour to Barcelona by train), and 5 min by walk to bus station (45 nin to Barcelona by bus).
good value for the price but what i really liked was the staff.. .!
Sasha and Ina are the type of persons that ,with their kindness, and their gorgeous smiles made me feel Better about Life itself.....i should have taken a photo of their wonderful smiles tò keep ! also wishing them the best for thelr future and a quick stop tò the atrocities in their home nation..

The first time I went to Calella... and I stayed at this hotel because it is in a very good area and the staff is very friendly at a good price... I had a problem with the cleaning of my room and thanks to the manager he was very kind to me he has solved it and I changed to another room... I'm sure I'll come back 😊
The hotel is conveniently located. The breakfast is perfect (it was the best decision to include it into out stay): there was a wide range of dishes. It is really convenient to get to the beach. There is a blackout that helps you to sleep sound and the beds are really comfortable.
The staff is very friendly, especially Mr. Franki - the reception boss!
The rooms were cleaned everyday, always had fresh towels.
The food was absolutely wonderful, had different dinner every day with a lot of choices!
The location is the best, right next to the beach!
Close to the sea and bus stations, also quite close to town center. Staff was very helpful and the serving was good during the meal times, we had an all inclusive and we enjoyed the food, specially the fruits and desserts.
Good diversity on food during meal times.
This hotel to me is exceptionally a 6☆
The hotel reception was so welcoming with fresh flowers everyday. The staff were all friendly nothing too much trouble with a smile. The cleanliness was 100%.
The breakfast everything you could wish for. I will visit again
